But she wanted to assure her faithful readers (all two of you) that she's still working on the site. She's been doing some cleanup behind the scenes, so the site has not been abandoned, there's just nothing new to report.

Her buddies at Stargate Israel have moved to a new url, so she'll post it here. It's in Hebrew though.

Rumors have it that Garry's off his crutches, and is heading down south (Alabama? Mississippi?) to take part in a movie! Sel won't tell him to break a leg as well, that would be cruel, even for Selmak, Czar of Sarcasm.

Tony's movie, "Read You like a Book" is being released in June.

But yes, but her faithful readers still stop by regularly, though one got scared as she typed in selmak.net and it came up blank. (Hint - that's run by Junior the meanie).

Don had so much fun at Dragoncon a while ago that his wife is actually letting him go back to the Biggest, Baddest Con this side of Polaris. The con runs from August 28 ~ September 1, 2008, and if you see Don, don't tell him Selmak sent you.

Is it nice to see an ex-Army guy cry and attempt to hide behind his autograph handler?

Sel says it's not.

Woodshop is a comedic drama about Chris Johnson realizing it is better to find peoples' strengths in the here and now than keeping to himself in the hopes that things will simply get better for him when he moves on to the next stage of his life. Aside from being his class Valedictorian, Chris is a seemingly unextraordinary High School Senior. He is determined to just get through his senior year and into an Ivy League School where he hopes to find his peers. However, his plans go a little awry when he misreads his lab partner's Chemistry notes. Chris inadvertently turns an Organic Chemistry test tube into a miniature cruise missile that nearly kills his teacher when it explodes against the black board he is writing on. Having never received anything less than an A in school, Chris finds himself with an F that could effectively knock him out of Ivy League contention thus Ruining his future. Sympathetic, Chris' Principal makes him a deal he cannot refuse: If Chris attends a Saturday Vocational Detention in the Woodshop, the F will be stricken from his record. Having never so much as touched a hammer he will be awkwardly out of his element; Chris has no choice.

Oooh! And Mitch Peliggi's in it also! (Yeah, he'd be a Selmak Boy Toy if she had the energy to wrangle a few more boys onto the site. Him and Bob Picardo can rest easily.)

February 24, 2008 ~ Happy B'Lated Bday to Garry & other stuff.

Happy belated Birthday to Garry, as he had a birthday on the 17th. Hope this year is better medically!

Also Sel is thrilled to announce that Simply Stellar Award is given to Liam at the SG-Atlantis.biz website. SG-Atlantis.biz is a a Stargate: Atlantis forum based role playing game (RPG), set during the current season of the TV show. SG-A is a welcoming community of dedicated players, who take on the roles of various Atlantis team members, both canon and non-canon, and enjoy a diverse range of missions set in the Stargate universe.

Because they're Simply Stellar, they were given this cool, nifty award.

February 15, 2008 ~ GET WELL SOON, GARRY!

Seems Garry had a bit of an accident walking his dogs last week according to the Providence.

The end result being an ambulance ride and surgery for a torn quad muscle.

Popular Vancouver actor Garry Chalk won't be hitting his marks for a while after a dog-walking accident ended with an ambulance ride and surgery at Vancouver Hospital. Chalk (among many other roles, the small-town sheriff caught between Freddy and Jason in 2003's box-office hit Freddy vs. Jason, and the sergeant on TV's Cold Squad) was walking his two blue-heelers at Jericho Park Feb. 5 when he slipped on a patch of ice and landed badly on his right leg, tearing his quad muscles. Two passing women called an ambulance for him and rounded up his dogs.

"Unfortunately, he was in so much pain he can't remember the women's names," says Chalk's sister, Sandy Reynolds.

Chalk got out of hospital this past Tuesday and will be off his feet for a month and a half.

"He has to go up 10 stairs at home, and he had to go up the stairs on his butt," says Reynolds, who jokes she doesn't envy the notoriously crusty actor's wife, Lynda Jane. "It's not going to be a freaking picnic, Garry is a force to contend with if you try to keep him down. The doctor figures six weeks before he's mended, and six months to a year of physio."

Get well soon, Garry!

There's a new Convention Company in town called JumpCon. They seem to be making some pretty exciting promises... so here is the info.

Tony Amendola is tentatively scheduled for three cons with them. And err.. yeah, at this moment their site is down... so keep checking back with them.

Santa Symbiote gave Sel an Ipod for Christmas, so she's busy learning how to be I-Sel now. Sel also had her 80,000th visitor over Christmas, but was unable to offer them cookies and eggnog.

Wow~ It's been a while. Sel had a little itty bitty computer problem. Who would have thought that a little 3 volt 190 MAH Lithium Coin battery would cause everything to come to a near crashing halt? Then when she finally did get the battery, she couldn't put it into the computer as she doesn't have opposable thumbs. Oh, the emotional trauma! She's hoping that if she's a good little symbiote, Santa Symbiote will buy her a kicking new system for Christmas, as Jake is far too cheap to do so.

But never fear, Selmak has lots of stuff for you.

Both Garry and Don will be appearing on Flash. Both Top Secret Sources reported in separately, so we're not sure if da boys are on the same episode. So, yes, that means our favorite little symbiote will break her vow never ever get sucked into another SciFi Channel program as they cancel every show she likes.

[Yes, I sometimes pick out my books based on the cover art.] I took a few minutes to peruse through the book that was only slightly smaller than a pack of computer printer paper and decided that it looked like a pretty good summer read.
