June 24, 2007 ~ What's up?

Sel would like to thank her Top Secret Jaffa source, Zim, and one of her Top Secret B.C. source, William, for their help in this update.

Zim went to the Read You Like a Book (Tony Amendola) screening recently and wrote a review for the site. She also created this hip n' happening, so cool you get a case of freezer burn just by looking at it, opening banner for the site.

Ain't it sweet? Unless you're one of Da Boys, and then it's a fan-fearing, palpitation inducing, cringe creating photo montage.

William was kind enough to cap Garry in Ordeal in the Arctic so thanks very much!

Selmak always jokes about her Top Secret Sources, but in case you're curious... they really do exist. All seventy five or so.
[Ignores gasps of horror. You all thought this monstrosity was just Sel, eh? Nope!]

Without them, Selmak.org wouldn't be half the snarkfest she is today. So thank you very very much!

Sel also updated her Garry screen caps from PKJ's Higher Court ~ Garry's the Evil!Glaring!Neuro!dude who likes Ballroom dancing.

Seriously.

Yes! I'm serious!

June 17, 2007 ~ What's up?

Joel Miller has answered a few questions about The Still Life - and we've got new pics of Don from the movie also.

June 16, 2007 ~ What's Up?

Found a Don podcast interview here.

June 13, 2007 ~ What's up?

Life has a wee bit hectic for Selmak lately, so she's got a bunch of updates and no time. Hopefully, she'll be able to get them up within the next week. Be patient, grasshoppers!

Sel's got Painkiller Jane caps with Garry. They're a little blurry and shaky, but if you want to see Evil Glaring Garry, click here!

Carmen recently was in the Arthur Miller's play "After the Fall" through the Actor's Studio. That's all the info Sel's been able to find out. Naturally, if you've got any details, drop Sel an email.

Joel Miller is doing a follow up interview with Selmak after barely surviving his first one. If you have any questions that you'd like to ask Joel about "The Still Life" please drop Sel an email!

Joel Miller's "The Still Life" is now available for preorder from Amazon.com!

Garry Chalk was recently involved in an episode of 321 Penguins. Sel doesn't have an airing date.

June 6, 2007 ~ What's new?

Antaeus Theatre (Tony's main theatre co.) is having a yard sale, starting @9:00 AM - Saturday & Sunday June 9 & 10, 2007.

4900-4916Vineland Blvd, NoHo

(Yeah, that proves Sel will post anything, no?)

June 4, 2007 ~ What's up?

Screen caps of Tony Amendola as "Slick Sal" from One More Round.

June 3, 2007 ~ What's new?

Our Top Secret Tony Source (TSTS) reports that Tony was recently involved in a new play called "The Sequence" which deals with the race to map human DNA.

We've got Gerard in screen caps from Haeckel's Tale, along with some other familiar Vancouverites (Steve Bacic and Tom McBeath)

June 2, 2007 ~ What's new in the State of Selmak?

Numerous Garry Chalk groupies ... errr.. fangrrrls... err... fans... report that Garry was on last night's episode of Painkiller Jane. He portrayed a lawyer turned Janitor that seeks revenge for his daughter by making people hallucinate with a nerve inducer technique before killing them.

There will be a special screening of Read You Like A Book (staring Tony Amendola) 7PM on June 16th at Shattuck Cinema in Berkeley, California!

May 24, 2007 ~ What's up?

In our yesterday's update, Sel snarkily busted Don's chops about Hammond's alleged retirement (of all two weeks or so). To her surprise, her Totally Top Secret Don Contact forwarded this on to her, as apparently Someone Ratted Out her Little Snarky, Sarcastic Symbiote Ass.

Though I honestly didn't believe that there could/would be any possible way that I could conceivably become involved in either of the two STARGATE MOW's, I have just spent the past two days working on one of them. Please extend my apologies to Selmak and the fans for the misinformation I so naively espoused at the New Zealand and Australian conventions. It appears that there are a great deal more possibilities for reappearances to occur in TV Land than I have would ever have imagined.

~ Some Guy Named Don.

You know what this means, Sel? Well, besides the reports that Carmen and Garry's characters are still apparently ill with an extremely bad case of the Dead Secondary Character Syndrome? ~ H

Squee! Don knows I exist! ~ Selmak the pathetic FanGrrrl.

No, he's being notified when you're being Snarky! ~ H

Uh oh! I'm in so much trouble! Do you think he's got a Red Phone for a Hotline like the President? ~ Selmak

In a vain, futile and ultimately doomed attempt at being a Responsible Driver on the Internet SuperHighway, Sel would like to point out that Joe M. has updated his blog with some new pics of Don. (On a serious note, Sel just thought that Don got asked to do the movie AFTER he did the cons in OZ, so she's not sure why he thinks he needs to apologize. )

May 23, 2007 ~ What's the latest?

You know, I got all these reports from people that witnessed, survived... attended the Balding Bad Boys of Sci Fi OZ tour 2007 about how Hammond's allegedly retired. Hammond's not gonna be in the Stargate movies.

His time has past. It's time for new heroes.

People were quoting that chapter, verse and even page number.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. Sure.

Looks like retirement's been pretty short-lived for Hammond.

(And yeah, Sel swiped this pic off Joe Mallozzi's blog as Selmak.Org is a cheap, low budget, cringe inducing mess of a website. And yes, we're pretty damn proud of that fact!)

The Antaeus Theater company (The one where Tony does most of his theater work) has moved to its new (temp) location. They are temporarily sharing quarters with the Deaf West Theater at 5114 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

May 20, 2007 ~ What's new?

Added some more pics of Carmen from the Bankstown con here. Sel's buddy Julie was kind enough to also send some pics of Don from Bankstown. What can Sel say?

Her spies are everywhere!

Also Sel won two awards in the Isis FanFic awards for her rather long winded, only finished it because Steph was poking her with a sharp, pointy stick story about Hammond and his wife. In the Action/Adventure Other/Other category she tied for 1st place and the Angst/Drama section she won outright thanks to a lot of ballot stuffing from the Tok'Ra Ascended group.

Note: I'm only joking, ok?

Though the idea of Hot Lips Houlihan and George Hammond is causing her head to hurt and her flippers to twitch.

May 19, 2007 ~ What's new ?

Carmen ~ Screen Caps ~ CSI: New York ... Comes Around.

May 18, 2007 ~ Sel's back from vacation ~

It'll take a while to get caught back up on the backlog on the site, as Sel's got even more pics from the Balding Bad Boys of SciFi Tour of Oz 2007 plus CSI:NY caps that showed up while she was on (yet another) vacation. They'll be up shortly, so be patient!

My, my, my. I think those two boys could put Shanks/Judge to shame if Sel's assorted sources aren't telling tall tales.

Our Top Secret Garry Chalk source, CS, reports that Garry will be in an episode of "The 4400". Sel's got no other info available than that.

Joel Miller's "The Still Life" featuring Don is FINALLY being released on August 7th by Warner Brothers. Let's give Joel a big YAY!

Gerard's latest is called "Nightwatching" ~ An extravagant, exotic and moving look at Rembrandt's romantic and professional life, and the controversy he created by the identification of a murderer in the painting THE NIGHT WATCH.

Sel takes a scenic railroad trip while on vacation.

May 10, 2007 ~ Sel's latest is ~

Last of Don in Twin Peaks.   Episode 27, Episode 28 & Episode 29. And so we say Goodbye to dear Garland Briggs.

May 8, 2007 ~ Selmak's latest ~

Carmen in CSI: NY ~ Cold Reveal.

May 5, 2007 ~ Selmak returns!

Did you miss me? I was gone for a long while as I was in Vancouver having fun! Wow! The stat counter is through the roof as the site was hit by a record number of visitors last month!

Yay
!

In today's update, I put up Don caps from Twin Peaks Episode 19, Episode 20 and Episode 21.

While in Vancouver, I also met Garry Chalk, got a new tattoo and a picture of the two of us. He's so cooooooool. ~ Selmak.

On behalf of the lone staff member of Selmak.Org, I'd like to wish Garry a quick recovery from meeting the unspeakable horror that is Selmak the symbiote fangggrl. He should make a full recovery, as the other boys have, though one still jumps at loud noises. Please don't sue! ~ H

May 4, 2007 ~ Helena's friends from OZ report in:

Julie meets Carmen in Bankstown, and she lives to tell the tale.

Smiley, the Vegemite girl strikes again in Melbourne, Don and Carmen.
