Dan was hysterical. He could give Gary Jones a run for his money.

(Sorry, Gary, but you're just the Chevron Guy, while Dan is Big Bad Über Wraith. 'Sides of who would you be more afraid? Über Wraith who could drain your energy or the Chevron Guy who could give you a big, bad paper cut?)

Dan was quite approachable throughout the entire con. You know, some of the stars are bussed in, do their speil, sign their autographs and then are bussed back to a 'fangrrrl - free' hotel. Nope, he and Alex (who had a cold) were often reported to be seen everywhere in the hotel, except for Room # 604.

As one con friend explained it, (paraphrased), we bought him and Alex a drink. Their drinks weren't even alcohol, and yet they were just so overwhelmingly appreciative.

So yeah, you may think of Dan as just Wraith # 5, but go see him at a con, and you'll be glad you did.
