Teryl, Teryl, Teryl. Please come back to Stargate. Yeah, they killed your character off because they were stupid, but please, please, PLEASE, come back. We miss you and Don!

Ok, just ignore that plaintive whine. Look, I've been to assorted cons, and after a while, you can tell which actors/actresses love their fans and who is there because they needed a gig. Teryl loves her fans, and they love her right back. So I was glad to hear that when everyone cancelled for the "Shanks but No Shanks" Con, that Teryl was attending.

She was a whiz at remembering people's names, and in fact, proceeded to tell everyone at our table for their dessert party what their names were. She even got my sister and my name's correct, which was surprising. (Yeah, so Carmen yelled at us when she was sitting with our table, but hell, she even pronounced mine correctly!) after commenting on the Stargate Quilt that we had gotten her to sign. A friend of ours made it for her sister, so we drag it to cons and get it signed for her, because how many Shanks, Judge, Davis autographs does one girl truly need? Even a Fangrrrl like myself sometimes must say, "Enough!".

Teryl has a great sense of humor as she looked at Ms. Tok'Ra Resistance, commented that she was a pretty princess, before her handlers made her go to the next table.

Teryl got the only standing ovation from the crowd that weekend. That says a lot, doesn't it?
