| Don S. Davis ~ X-Files |
| Don is Scully's father. They have an uneasy relationship at best and naturally, the X-Files killed Don's character off immediately. Scully comes face to face with a psychic murder who claims to have a message for her from her deceased father. Scully becomes increasingly unnerved as the prisoner insists on singing, "Beyond the Sea", her father's favorite tune. |

| Somewhere beyond the sea |
| Somewhere waiting for me |
| My lover stands on golden sands |
| |
| And watches the ships that go sailing |
| Somewhere beyond the sea |
| Beyond the Sea |
| She's there, watching for me |

If I could fly like birds on high |
| Then straight to her arms I'd go sailing |
| It's far beyond a star, |
| it's near beyond the moon |
| I know beyond a doubt, that my heart will lead me there. Useless trivia, when Don's character was dying and 'appeared' to Scully, Don mouthed the Lord's Prayer. |
