Garry is a not very Christian like former Bible Salesman, James Stillson, who has pushed his son into a career in politics. He is his (supposed) son's politicial adviser. James has a drinking problem and he's bit of a bully. His son snaps and kills him after James bad mouth's Greg's mother.
